About Me

Hi! I'm Hannah, a wife, mom of 4, doula, childbirth educator, and BRM® pro. I have a Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, a minor in Nutrition Education, and lots of certifications related to birth education and doula work. I've had 4 unmedicated births- 3 at home. Home is a special place, but I support moms giving birth wherever they feel safest! I've been attending births since 2021, learning everything I can along the way. My birth philosophy is that God designed our bodies to birth, and things tend to go well when we work with His design, rather than against it. Outside of birth work, I homeschool my children, enjoy a chai latte whenever I can, and love going on road trips with my family. * I am currently focusing on BRM® services, because having an on call schedule with 4 young kids is a lot! But I am still taking repeat clients and special requests. * Know that I will do everything I can to support, encourage, and help prepare you for birth. You can do this! I believe in you!

What clients say

"Hannah's support as our doula was truly exceptional. Her sweet, calm, and encouraging presence made all the difference during the birth of our child. With each contraction, Hannah was there with strength and confidence, providing safety, security, and compassion. Her gift for providing love and reassurance in such a profound way is truly remarkable. Hannah knew exactly what to do, and her presence made us feel safe and supported throughout the entire process. She is so knowledgeable about how to prepare for birth, the birthing process, and what positions to utilize and when. Her knowledge gave us confidence. We can't imagine what it would have been like without her. She was a big part of the most difficult yet most beautiful 30 hours of our lives. Ryan and I are so grateful for Hannah and the role she played in our birth story. We will cherish the memories of her support and care forever. Don’t hesitate to hire Hannah! You will not regret it. Ryan & Jillian."

"My husband and I found Hannah through the Catholic Birth Directory way back when I was only a few weeks pregnant with our first child. From the beginning, she was professional, personable, and easy to connect with via email, text, and in person. Anytime I needed advice or resources, she was on it. Hannah provided effective exercises for pregnancy discomforts, preparation for birth, and even some to rotate our son when he randomly turned OP in the weeks leading up to his birth. However, her real value presented itself when I went into my 48-hour labor. My husband was at work and I was home alone, never having gone through labor before. Hannah coached me via text how to find some comfort and worked with my husband when he got home to help gage where I was at in the process. From there, Hannah and my husband worked together in person to coach me and provide counter pressure during my contractions. When she wasn't doing that, she was cleaning up around the house, and fixing and picking up food for me. Towards the end of my labor, I needed to spend time alone with my husband, and Hannah helped communicate with the rest of the birth team to facilitate what ended up being the most beautiful and intimate birth with my husband.
A once in a lifetime moment that would not have been possible without her. Hannah never doubted, she never argued, she only served. "

"When I started researching doulas during pregnancy, I was very hopeful to find a Christian doula. Where I live, there are many “religious” people but I was specifically looking for someone who it was clear that their Christian faith would be a foundational part of their service. I absolutely found that in Hannah! Her childbirth education & birth planning support leading up to L&D was so helpful. I ended up having prolonged PROM, and Hannah was SO attentive & in constant contact, giving me ideas to try & help get labor started. When I finally started having strong contracts at nearly midnight, she was at our house ASAP - and it’s a good thing, because as soon as she arrived she started timing my contractions & I was only 2 minutes apart!! We’ll never know, but had it not been for her swift work & attention, it’s possible we could have been one of those unintended home births! Once we arrived at the birth center, Hannah was instrumental in making sure I was well supported in my short labor up to water birth. For example, I recall her reminding me once my body had started pushing to position with my knees in & feet out, which was a plan I had that I was not remembering in the moment. All that to say, I had such a phenomenal experience with Hannah & would highly recommend her to any pregnant momma!!"

What clients say

"My baby was breech and Hannah gave me some exercise recommendations to help give her space to flip. I'm pretty sure the exercises worked immediately. She flipped around 10 times and then settled into a head down position. Also, I had been having weird heart pounding/out of breath when sitting episodes during those breech weeks and that immediately went away when I did your upper body stretches. So thank you thank you!! "

"Hannah was absolutely incredible as my doula! She provided unwavering support and encouragement throughout my labor, giving me the confidence I needed to trust my body and embrace the process. Her calm demeanor and wealth of knowledge made all the difference in creating a positive birth experience. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for compassionate and empowering care during such a special time. Thank you, Hannah, for everything!"

" Hannah's class contains a wealth of information as well as hands on practice. Learning about the anatomy related to the birthing process boosted my confidence in my body for the birthing process and helped me understand how to use it to my advantage. Hannah's presence makes you feel confortable with the practice, education and any questions you might have. I highly recommend this class, especially if this is your first birth experience!"
